Since the last time we talked...

It has been 12 days since I last wrote anything and ALOT can happen in 12 days, so...since the last time we talked:
  • School started (Aug 16 with students) and that is always an interesting time of year.
  • Drew had a birthday (Aug 18). We had steak and a nice dinner at The Cellar in Kearney and I bought him some smoker racks for the smoker.
  • Our tomatoes have finally started producing ripe tomatoes. (So far, we have picked 10 gallons of tomatoes and they are just getting started.)
  • I have been gearing up to start classes at UNK this week. I will be taking one online and one on campus this fall. That should be interesting.
That pretty much covers the major events. I will try to keep this updated a little better!

School started on August 16? Holy crap, that's early! Brian's school starts today, although he doesn't have class until tomorrow b/c he teaches T and R this semester.

Happy (belated) birthday to Drew! :)

10 gallons of tomatoes? That's a lot - hope you REALLY like them!
