2 Broken Mirrors in 3 1/2 Years

Is it bad if you break 2 mirrors in 3 1/2 years?

Shortly after we were married, I was backing out of the garage and successfully sent the side mirror of my car flying through the garage. Drew was standing in there and we laughed and laughed about it. Until we got the bill. It cost close to $150 to replace the dumb thing.

Drew still laughs.

Today, I hit the garage AGAIN and removed a mirror. Only this time I was in the truck. Oh no...
So, I called Drew and he and I had a good laugh over the whole thing. I guess we will see what the bill looks like in this one.

sigh.

I don't believe in luck. There's a really great line in an old Rod Stewart song: "Luck is believing you're lucky, that's all." How true!

Yeah, that's what Andy and I are calling paying the "Stupid tax." I was driving to school this week and left late from work. I admit, I was plowing down the road. And then a state cop saw me from the other side. Seeing in my rear view, he took the median and went after me.
So Andy and I were doing December's budget last night and we had to add this somewhere. We needed it categorize it as something, so this month I get to pay stupid tax. Mine is 148.50....ironically close to your mirror bill!
